## Description

Remote Recruitment is hiring a **Tax Accountant** for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

-   Prepare and file corporation tax returns, VAT submissions and statutory tax filings
-   Monitor tax legislation changes and advise management on their impact
-   Liaise directly with HMRC and other tax authorities on queries and investigations
-   Prepare detailed tax provisions, deferred tax calculations and supporting schedules
-   Support the year-end audit process with comprehensive tax workings and documentation
-   Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to optimise the group tax position

Requirements

-   4+ years of tax accounting experience in practice or industry
-   ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification is preferred or studying towards
-   Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax and VAT legislation
-   Excellent analytical skills and high accuracy in preparing complex tax calculations
-   Able to communicate technical tax matters clearly to non-specialist stakeholders
