**Marketing & Business Development Executive**

An established UK-based construction marketing agency is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Marketing & Business Development Executive to become the right hand to the Founder.

This is a pivotal role within a boutique agency that partners with architects, contractors, and industrial businesses across the UK. Following a period of restructuring, the business is now lean, focused, and ready for smart, sustainable growth. The Founder is looking for one exceptional full-time professional to consolidate marketing, CRM, and client-facing responsibilities currently managed by multiple freelancers.

This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter who thrives on ownership, enjoys variety, and brings both creative marketing expertise and confident client communication skills. You will play a key part in shaping client campaigns, managing proposals, and supporting warm business development efforts — all while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

### Key Responsibilities

### Marketing (Primary Focus)

-   Manage and execute social media content across client accounts
-   Create and schedule email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp
-   Write high-quality, original copy tailored to different audiences (e.g. architects vs industrial clients)
-   Edit and amend client marketing materials using Adobe InDesign
-   Design supporting visual content using Canva
-   Maintain consistent tone of voice across all client communications
-   Ensure all copy is human-written and aligned with brand standards
-   Support campaign planning and implementation

### Business Development & Administration (Secondary Focus)

-   Manage and maintain HubSpot CRM (including system migration support)
-   Create polished, professional proposals using Better Proposals
-   Conduct warm outreach calls (referral-based — no cold calling)
-   Run initial screening calls with prospective clients before handover to the Founder
-   Assist with general marketing administration and reporting
-   Support diary coordination and pipeline tracking

### Qualifications & Experience

**Essential Requirements:**

-   Minimum 3 years’ experience in a marketing executive or similar role
-   Strong experience with social media management and email marketing (Mailchimp preferred)
-   Advanced proficiency in **Adobe InDesign** (non-negotiable)
-   Strong Canva skills
-   Proven copywriting ability with clear understanding of tone-of-voice adaptation
-   Comfortable and confident conducting video calls with UK-based clients
-   Experience using HubSpot CRM (or similar CRM systems)
-   Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
-   Positive, professional and engaging communication style
-   Reliable laptop, stable high-speed internet connection, and quiet workspace
-   Willingness to use a UK phone system (e.g. Zoom Phone)
