## Description

Remote World is looking for a creative and organised **Social Media Assistant** to support the online presence of a UK-based business. You'll work remotely from South Africa, helping to plan, create, and schedule content across key platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands what makes content perform, and can turn brand messaging into engaging posts.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Create and schedule content for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X
-   Write captions and copy that match the brand's tone and engage the target audience
-   Monitor comments, messages, and mentions and respond or flag as appropriate
-   Track post performance and compile simple monthly reports
-   Support campaign planning and help coordinate content calendars

### What You'll Need

-   Experience managing social media for a brand or business (not just personal accounts)
-   Strong written English with an eye for tone and style
-   Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later
-   Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar is a plus
-   Reliable internet and a dedicated home workspace

### What's on Offer

-   **Salary: R14,000 per month**
-   Full-time, permanent remote position
-   Working hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
