## Description

We are scaling our **Offline Lending** business in Nigeria and looking for a **Product Manager** to own the product end-to-end - from acquisition and loan origination to repayment, collections, and portfolio performance.

We are looking for a hands-on product leader with **strong experience in the Nigerian lending market**, who understands offline / branch / field-based lending and can drive both **portfolio growth and sustainable profitability**.

We expect the first tangible outcomes within **6–8 weeks**.

### What You’ll Do

-   Own the **Offline Lending product lifecycle end-to-end**
-   Optimize loan products, eligibility, pricing, limits, tenor, and approval processes
-   Improve customer acquisition through **branches, field teams, agents, and other offline channels**
-   Drive portfolio growth while maintaining healthy **PAR, NPL, default, and profitability metrics**
-   Work with Risk, Credit, Operations, Collections, Data, Engineering, and Commercial teams
-   Use data to improve approval rates, turnaround time, repayment, repeat lending, and unit economics
-   Identify opportunities to scale the lending portfolio across Nigeria

## Requirements

-   **4–7 years of Product Management / Product Ownership experience**
-   Strong experience in **lending products in Nigeria**
-   Hands-on experience with **offline / branch-led / field-based lending**
-   Strong understanding of **credit assessment, underwriting, loan origination, repayment, and collections**
-   Experience with **portfolio management and lending metrics** such as PAR, NPL, default, yield, and loss rates
-   Experience in **fintech, MFB, banking, consumer finance, or digital lending**
-   Strong commercial and data-driven mindset
-   Proven ability to work cross-functionally with **Risk, Credit, Operations, Collections, Data, and Engineering**
-   Strong stakeholder management and execution skills
-   **Fluent English**

**Strong plus:** experience with **SME, merchant, working capital, or repeat lending products**.
