## Description

About RA

Resident Advisor has been a home for electronic music culture since 2001. Event discovery, ticketing, news and long-form editorial, artist profiles, original films, and a weekly mix series two decades deep. Around 7 million people use the web platform every month, with a wider audience across our apps and other channels. Underneath the platform sits a network of contributors and city managers across dozens of cities, which is how we stay connected to the scenes we cover rather than reporting on them from a distance. RA is 25 years old, independent, B Corp certified and intent on being indispensable to the artists, promoters and audiences who make this culture.

Purpose of the role

RA is hiring a Key Accounts Manager in Mexico City to drive growth and manage day-to-day relationships with our most important ticketing partners across Mexico and the Western US. You'll use RA's real-time ticketing, audience and media data to spot which events, clubs, festivals and promoters have momentum, identify where each partnership can grow, and recommend what to do next.

Mexico is one of RA's fastest-developing territories. This role puts you at the centre of that growth, while building relationships across the Western US and helping shape a data-led key accounts playbook for the wider Partnerships team.

Key responsibilities

Drive growth with data

- Track ticket sales, sell-through and audience trends across your partners' events to understand what's working in real time.
- Compare performance across event lifecycles, venues, promoters and cities to identify partners and events with the most potential.
- Turn insights into recommendations on on-sale timing, marketing and media plans.
- Feed market intelligence to the North America Revenue Lead and product teams, helping RA build what partners in Mexico and the US need.
- Compare what works across the two markets and bring useful ideas from one to the other.

Own and grow key partnerships

- Be the day-to-day contact for key ticketing partners across Mexico and the Western US.
- Build strong relationships through regular calls, data-led reviews and in-person meetings, including quarterly face-to-face meetings with key partners.
- Support re-signs with performance data and partnership review decks that demonstrate the value RA delivers.
- Identify and act on growth and upsell opportunities, and promptly escalate partnership-critical issues to the North America Revenue Lead.
- Work alongside Partnerships Managers in Mexico and California to support partners and the scenes they serve.

Deliver for partners

- Own the onboarding of new partner agreements across ticketing benefits, and track and deliver contractual commitments.
- Set up and manage service fees, and respond to partner questions on fees and remittances, including MXN remittances.
- Coordinate on-sale timings, calendar bookings and Queue-it setup for major on-sales.
- Deliver contracted marketing across advertising and social budgets, mailers, RA Picks and editorial, including pitching for Spanish-language content; measure the results.
- Keep HubSpot and partnership records accurate, working across Editorial, Social, Ad Ops, Rev Ops, Finance and Support.

Build the playbook

- Help establish a data-led key accounts process for the wider Partnerships team: what to track, when to act and how to report it.
- Use your insight to help identify opportunities across Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tulum and Playa del Carmen, and deepen relationships across California, the Pacific Northwest and the wider Western US.

We’re looking for

- At least three years' experience in account management or client partnerships, ideally in ticketing, live events, music or hospitality.
- Confidence working with dashboards and reports, and turning data into decisions and partner recommendations.
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English.
- Established relationships in Mexico's club, festival and events scene.
- Experience managing contractual commitments or complex partner agreements.
- An organised, proactive approach and responsiveness to promoter hours around key on-sales.
- A passion for and understanding of electronic music culture.
- **Nice to have:** Experience with a ticketing or events platform, HubSpot or another CRM, analytics or BI tools, or US partners.

What we offer you

- 34 days' annual leave.
- A commission structure; terms to be confirmed.
- A transparent internal company culture committed to [diversity, equity and inclusion](https://ra.co/about/diversity).
- Involvement in [community projects](https://ra.co/about/community) within electronic music.

The following benefits are included in RA's job spec template and should be confirmed for Mexico before publication: pension arrangements, wellbeing initiatives, company social events, merchandise discounts and paid volunteering allowance.

More about RA

We are independent and we intend to stay that way. 25 years in, RA answers to the culture it came from rather than to outside stakeholders. That is what enables us to make decisions on a long-term basis.

Our staff, contributors and international teams are not observers. They are part of the scenes we cover, and that is what we hire for. Craft first, and then a genuine stake in this music rather than just a job in it.

RA has been B Corp certified since 2024, which holds us to standards on social and environmental impact we would want to meet regardless of the badge.

We especially welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, abilities, ethnicities, experiences, gender identities and sexual orientations.

Our values

- Electronic music is art.
- We celebrate the progressive values that underpin electronic music.
- We advocate for a more inclusive and equitable electronic music community.
- We honour the past, present and future of electronic music.
- We use innovation to empower the community.
- We choose honesty over gain and purpose over profit.
- We're always front left.
