## Description

We’re looking for a **Java Developer** with **5+ years of strong hands-on experience** in backend development, building REST APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Dropwizard. The ideal candidate should also have working knowledge of React.js, database management, and end-to-end application development, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and reliable applications.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Dropwizard.
-   Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless application communication.
-   Develop and maintain frontend components using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
-   Work with relational databases, write optimized SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.
-   Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to maintain code quality.
-   Troubleshoot issues, debug applications, and optimize performance and reliability.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
-   Maintain code repositories, support CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to application deployment and maintenance.

## Requirements

**Backend Technologies**

-   Java (Core Java, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading)
-   Dropwizard Framework – hands-on experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
-   Spring Boot – development and integration of backend services and microservices
-   REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, and API integrations
-   Maven/Gradle for build and dependency management

**Frontend Technologies**

-   React.js, JavaScript (ES6+)
-   HTML5, CSS3
-   React Hooks, component-based development, and state management
-   Frontend and backend API integration

**Databases**

-   Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
-   Strong SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, indexing, and query optimization
-   Understanding of database schema design, transactions, and data integrity
-   Exposure to ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA is an advantage

**Testing & Quality**

-   JUnit, Mockito
-   Unit testing and integration testing
-   REST API testing using Postman or similar tools

**Tools & Infrastructure**

-   Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
-   Docker and CI/CD pipelines
-   Linux/Unix fundamentals
-   Application logging, debugging, and performance troubleshooting

**Architecture & Engineering Practices**

-   Microservices architecture and distributed systems fundamentals
-   Object-oriented design principles and design patterns
-   API security, authentication, and authorization
-   Agile/Scrum development practices

**Preferred Skills**

-   Experience supporting and enhancing existing enterprise Java applications
-   Familiarity with Redis or other caching technologies
-   Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
-   Experience with monitoring and observability tools
