## Description

Utility Operator Position - Full Time - Temp to Hire

Location: Turners Falls, MA

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm (Temp) 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am rotating days (Perm)

Responsibilities:

-   Operate and monitor machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety.
-   Perform routine inspections and maintenance on utilities systems and equipment.
-   Respond promptly to operational issues, troubleshooting and resolving as necessary.
-   Maintain accurate logs and reports of operations and maintenance activities.
-   Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
-   Assist with facility upkeep and housekeeping as needed.
-   Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve operational efficiency.
-   Participate in training sessions and follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

-   High school diploma or GED preferred.
-   Previous experience in utility operation, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus.
-   Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate machinery safely.
-   Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-   Good communication and organizational skills.
-   Willingness to work a consistent schedule with potential overtime as needed.
