### Vice President / Director of Education

**Revere Staffing – Hamden, CT**

### Position Summary

Revere Staffing is currently seeking a Vice President/Director of Education for a specialized educational and behavioral health organization in the Hamden area. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing educational programming, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness within a therapeutic and special education environment.

The ideal candidate will provide leadership and guidance to educational staff, ensure compliance with Connecticut educational standards, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to support high-quality student-centered services.

### Responsibilities

-   Provide strategic oversight of educational programming and service delivery
-   Supervise educational leadership staff and support program development
-   Ensure compliance with Connecticut State Department of Education regulations and special education requirements
-   Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor program outcomes
-   Oversee educational budgets, staffing structures, and enrollment processes
-   Support educator evaluation systems and professional development programs
-   Participate in IEP meetings and assist with complex student cases as needed
-   Collaborate across departments to ensure continuity of care and educational services
-   Maintain a safe, inclusive, and therapeutic learning environment

### Qualifications

-   5+ years of educational leadership experience, preferably within special education or clinical day school settings
-   Strong experience with educational programming, compliance, and administration
-   Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment

### Certifications Required

-   Connecticut Intermediate Administration or Supervision Certification (#092)  
    AND
-   Connecticut Special Education Certification (#165)  
    OR
-   Connecticut School Social Work Certification (#071)

Additional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention/Intervention must be obtainable upon hire.
