About the Expert Engagement team (EE) ([team](https://photos.app.goo.gl/Uw1Hheutkq6wSTZ19) [photo](https://photos.app.goo.gl/Uw1Hheutkq6wSTZ19)):

We envision a world where every venture reaches its mission through our network’s partnership, and leaders engage us for opportunities to uplift humanity. We accelerate venture impact and ultimately enable our Portfolio by bridging them with a curated network of mission-driven leaders, and that's where you come in.

Our Expert Engagement team of 3 is looking for our 4th teammate and first ever Sourcing Manager to proactively expand one of the world’s most influential & intentionally curated communities of mission-driven leaders. We call this our [Expert Network](http://www.rippleworks.org/expert-network/) and it breathes at the center of everything we do for our Portfolio of social ventures.

Our Expert Engagement team sources, recruits, prepares, and coaches particular executives from around the globe to partner with our portfolio of ventures in a suite of opportunities. These volunteers, we call experts, share their wisdom and provide practical guidance on specific operational priorities & challenges. In return, these experts learn about new markets & industries, create and or deepen their experiences in social impact, have a lot of fun and sometimes will even work with their venture long-term.

To date, we’ve built an Expert Network of 450+ leaders that have served 350+ ventures over more than 800 different engagements.

**The Role**

As our first-ever Sourcing Manager, you'll be the first person most of our experts ever meet, aka the front door to the Expert Network. You'll identify, engage, and build deep personal relationships with various leaders & executives across industries, sectors, business functions, and countries, proactively shaping an Expert Network that matches our Portfolio's needs.

You and our two Talent Managers work as a relay: you spark the relationship; a talent manager takes it from engagement to impact. You're the start of every expert's journey with Rippleworks and the owner of our comms & convenings across networks.

You'll thrive in this role if you love building relationships and partnering closely with great leaders seeking to do more good in the world.

The Sourcing Manager reports directly to the Team Lead.

Specifically, you will:

- Partner across Rippleworks teammates and our Portfolio alike to understand priority business needs, translate into an ideal expert profile and proactively engage potential experts.
- Build diverse networks of potential experts through sourcing and community engagement.
- Design and run events and community experiments (incl newsletters) that turn cold introductions into experts who can't wait to be matched.
- Contribute to building One Rippleworks by impacting the entire company. We believe that everyone at Rippleworks proactively shapes our company culture to increase belonging and do our best work.
