**Job Brief**

We are looking for a driven Junior Sous Chef to support kitchen management and help run daily operations across sections. You will assist the Sous Chef with staff supervision, scheduling, and quality control, and step in to lead the kitchen during their absence. This role suits an experienced chef ready to grow into a full kitchen management position.

**Key Responsibilities**

•  Support the Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations across multiple sections.

•  Supervise, schedule, and coordinate Chef de Partie and junior kitchen staff.

•  Check food quality, presentation, and consistency across the kitchen during service.

•  Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management for the kitchen.

•  Help enforce food safety, hygiene, and cleaning standards across all sections.

•  Support recruitment, training, and performance feedback for kitchen staff.

•  Step in for the Sous Chef during their absence and support smooth daily service.

## Requirements

•  Culinary diploma or degree required; further management or culinary training is a plus.

•  At least 6 to 8 years of kitchen experience, including time as a Senior Chef de Partie or similar role.

•  Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; able to manage multiple sections under pressure.
