**Job Brief**

We are looking for a motivated Commis III (Kitchen Helper) to join our kitchen team. You will support the cooks and chefs with basic food preparation, follow simple recipes and instructions, and help keep the kitchen clean and organized. This is a great starting role for someone who wants to learn and grow in a professional kitchen.

**Key Responsibilities**

•  Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients as instructed by the chef or cook.

•  Assist in basic cooking tasks under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.

•  Keep the work station, tools, and equipment clean and organized at all times.

•  Store food items correctly and follow proper labeling and rotation methods (FIFO).

•  Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleaning standards set by the company and local health authorities.

•  Help receive and unpack deliveries, and move supplies within the kitchen.

•  Report any equipment issues, low stock, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

## Requirements

•  No formal culinary education required; basic knowledge of kitchen tools and hygiene is a plus.

•  Little to no prior kitchen experience needed; willingness to learn is most important.

•  Must be physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and work well under supervision in a team.
