**About the role:**

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Rwanda team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth procurement, distribution, and lifecycle management of devices, headsets, and cabinets for Rising’s AI‑Powered Tablet Pilot and other programs. By working closely with schools, suppliers, and partners, the Coordinator will ensure timely delivery, secure storage, and efficient maintenance of assets, while building systems that support scale across Rwanda and beyond.

**The Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator will:**

-   Procure tablets, headsets, cabinets, and accessories in line with program needs.
-   Manage customs clearance, warehousing, and distribution to schools.
-   Establish repair and replacement systems, headset hygiene protocols, and waste management.
-   Provide regular updates to suppliers, government counterparts, and Rising leadership.
-   Track procurement timelines, warehouse stock, repair turnaround, and asset durability.
-   Train warehouse and school staff on storage, charging, and distribution protocols.
-   Collect and analyze durability data for devices and accessories, integrating feedback into procurement planning.

**Location and reporting:** 

This is a full‑time, onsite position in Kigali, Rwanda. The role reports to Rising’s Head of Programs, Rwanda.

## Requirements

**Qualifications and Experience:**

-   5+ years in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or related roles (education sector experience an advantage).
-   Strong skills in inventory management, vendor coordination, and operational reporting.
-   Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Google Suite, and supply chain management systems.
-   Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
-   Experience training and building capacity for non‑technical audiences.
-   Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
