Currently, ROAR allows hotels to provide a safe, secure and empowering professional environment for the 58% of hotel workers who experience sexual harassment during the job. AlwaysOn™ equips housekeepers with alert devices to request help during a distressful situation and monitoring tools for security and management to respond appropriately.
The company was co-founded by Yasmine Mustafa, a serial entrepreneur and community leader in Philadelphia who is driven to leverage technology for good as a result of her experiences being undocumented and working in the hospitality industry for 14 years. She sold her first company and has received numerous honors, including BBC's 100 Women of 2016.
