### About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Design System Manager to lead and accelerate the development, governance, and adoption of our enterprise design system. This is a short-term, high-impact contract role focused on establishing strong foundations, improving UI consistency, and enabling scalable frontend practices across digital platforms.

The ideal candidate is strategic yet hands-on, capable of quickly assessing the current state, defining a clear roadmap, and delivering measurable improvements within a 3-month engagement.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess the current state of the design system and identify gaps
-   Define and execute a focused 3-month roadmap with clear deliverables
-   Establish governance frameworks and contribution models
-   Lead development or refinement of reusable UI components, tokens, and patterns
-   Align UX, frontend engineering, and brand standards
-   Ensure accessibility (WCAG), responsiveness, and performance best practices
-   Implement documentation standards and version control processes
-   Drive stakeholder alignment and adoption across product teams
-   Provide mentorship and recommendations for long-term sustainability

## Requirements

-   8+ years of experience in UI/UX, frontend engineering, or digital product development
-   Proven experience building or scaling enterprise design systems
-   Strong expertise in component-based architecture and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
-   Deep understanding of design tokens, theming, and UI governance
-   Experience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG)
-   Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
-   Ability to deliver results in short, high-impact engagements
