ROCC Film is seeking a talented video editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches with the company’s vision. The ideal candidate is passionate about video editing and creative content creation.

### **Responsibilities:**

-   Mix and enhance dialogue, music, voiceover, and sound effects to create polished final edits.
-   Collaborate with creative directors, designers, producers, marketers, and production partners throughout concept development, production, and post-production.
-   Organize and maintain project files, media assets, templates, and editing workflows across multiple concurrent projects.
-   Stay current on editing techniques, storytelling trends, post-production best practices, and emerging creative technologies.
-   Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
-   Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the final output
-   Proven work experience as a video editor
-   Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
-   Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity

## Requirements

**Qualifications Required:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in film editing or related degree is preferred.
-   Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs.
-   Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously.
-   Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with the team and the ability to bring them to life.
-   Excellent organizational and time management skills to work comfortably in a deadline-driven environment.
-   Possess a positive, solution-oriented attitude with a keen eye for process and product improvements.
-   Excellent command of the English language.
-   Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions.
-   Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects.
-   5 – 7 years of experience being in video editing.
