## Description

Royal Ocean Marine is looking for a dedicated Chartering Executive to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the chartering department in cargo allocation, contract negotiations, and client relationship management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the maritime industry and learn the intricacies of chartering operations.

### Key Responsibilities:

-   Assist in the preparation and negotiation of charter party agreements
-   Coordinate and track vessel schedules to ensure timely cargo deliveries
-   Maintain communication with clients, shipowners, and other stakeholders
-   Compile and analyze market intelligence to support decision-making
-   Support the Senior Chartering Manager in all chartering activities
-   Monitor market conditions and provide regular updates to the team
-   Help resolve any chartering-related issues as they arise

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field
-   1-2 years of relevant experience in chartering, shipping operations, or a related field preferred non experience maritime students are also encouraged to apply)
-   Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data
-   Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-   Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
-   Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
-   Ability to work effectively in a team environment
-   A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the maritime sector
-   Japanese speaker will be advantageous as may be travelling or station in Japan
