We are hiring a Senior SAP Finance Lead/Architect for an elite corporate transformation initiative in Calgary! This role is built for a strategic yet hands-on expert who can take a freshly upgraded S/4HANA ecosystem and completely optimize it for peak operational and analytical performance.

⏳ **Experience Level:** 8+ Years Total SAP Finance Experience (Minimum 3+ years hands-on S/4HANA FI/CO).

🎯 **CRITICAL REQUIREMENT:** Proven track record leading **post-upgrade optimization** and finance transformation in newly upgraded environments.

## Requirements

🛡️ **Core Domain Expertise:**

-   **S/4HANA Finance Modules:** FI/CO, Project Systems (PS), Treasury & Risk Management (TRM), Cash Management, and OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
-   **Strategic Architecture:** Designing a comprehensive 3-year finance technology roadmap capitalizing on advanced S/4HANA capabilities.
-   **Technical Ecosystems:** Managing integrations with external financial systems (planning, consolidation) and leading testing/validation for complex functional enhancements.

⚙️ **Key Responsibilities:**

-   **Strategic Leadership:** Direct continuous improvement and post-upgrade optimization workflows; coordinate customizations with outsourced development teams and corporate stakeholders.
-   **Operational Excellence:** Drive business process reengineering (BPR), design real-time reporting/analytics, and lead month-end close automation initiatives.
-   **Technical Governance:** Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for deep FI/CO configurations, automated internal controls, audit trails, and provide Level 3 escalation support.

✔️ **Preferred Assets:**

-   SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
-   CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting designation.
-   Hands-on exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BPC, or RPA tools for finance process automation.
