## Description

Job Summary:  
  
\- Assist with the development, design, testing and certification documentation for new or modified printed circuit board modules for aircraft  
\- Apply electrical engineering theory and the operation of electronic test equipment to test and troubleshoot avionics / electrical modules or systems  
\- Model and simulate electronic circuits using SPICE software  
\- Design printed circuit board layouts using Altium design software  
\- Modify and maintain programmable logic designs in FPGAs and CPLDs  
\- Prepare engineering certification reports to document system designs that meet the requirements of certification authorities  
\- Prepare functional test documents to verify proper operation of electronic assemblies  
  
Skills/Experience:  
  
\- Proficient in analog and digital circuit design  
\- Software programing experience with C programming language  
\- Desired knowledge of control systems and embedded processor design  
\- Design Experience with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and Verilog or VHDL  
\- Familiarity with the application of aerospace standards (DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461) or similar industry standards.  
\- At least 2 years of experience in Electronics Engineering or related field  
  
Education:  
  
\- Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Electrical Engineering.  
\- Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.  
\- Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
