We are looking for an Engagement Lead with an agile delivery focus — a hands-on technical project manager / product owner who can take ownership of how our software and data products actually get built and shipped. You will lead cross-functional agile teams, keep delivery predictable, own the relationship with your clients on the delivery side, and be the person who makes sure the right thing gets delivered, on time and to a high standard. **What Your Day Might Look Like** - **Lead the delivery**: Own end-to-end delivery of one or more data & AI engagements — planning, execution, and quality — across cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists and analysts. - **Run the agile cadence**: Facilitate the day-to-day agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives), keep the backlog healthy, and make sure the team always knows the next most important thing to build. - **Own scope and the backlog**: Translate client and business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and a prioritised roadmap — acting as product owner where needed. - **Keep delivery predictable**: Track progress, velocity and dependencies; spot risks and blockers early; and step in to keep things moving without micromanaging the team. - **Stay close to the build**: Engage with engineers on technical trade-offs, estimates and sequencing — you don’t need to write the code, but you need to understand it well enough to make good calls. - **Own the client relationship**: Be the main delivery-side point of contact for your clients — building trust, managing expectations, leading steering and status conversations, and handling scope and the occasional difficult discussion with clarity and confidence. - **Manage the numbers**: Keep a clear view of timeline, budget, effort and delivery health, and report status transparently to stakeholders. - **Raise the bar**: Improve how we deliver — ways of working, tooling and agile practice — and mentor junior PMs and team members along the way. ## Requirements **Your Superpowers 🚀** - **Experience delivering data & analytics projects (must-have)**: a demonstrable track record of taking data and/or analytics engagements through to delivery. - 5+ years in **tech sector** out of which at least 3+ at technical project management, delivery management or product ownership, leading agile teams that build software and/or data products. - **Proven agile & waterfall delivery track record**: hands-on experience running Scrum / Kanban and managing the full delivery lifecycle of multi-workstream engagements. - **Delivery tooling**: familiarity with Jira (or similar) and a solid grasp of how software gets planned, tracked and shipped. - **Technical fluency**: comfortable engaging engineers on architecture, estimates, dependencies and trade-offs in a software or data context — you can read the build, even if you don’t write it. - **Backlog and scope ownership**: strong experience turning business needs into clear stories, acceptance criteria and a prioritised, well-groomed backlog. - **Client relationship management**: experience owning the delivery-side relationship with clients — managing expectations, keeping senior stakeholders aligned, and leading status and steering conversations. - **Understanding of the data & analytics space**, with hands-on familiarity with AI tools and trends and a practical view on where they create value. - **Structure under pressure**: comfortable in fast-moving, evolving environments, bringing order and predictability where it’s needed. **Bonus points for** - Background as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer or Data Scientist (a real plus), along with relevant certifications (e.g. Scrum / PSM / PSPO / PMP / PRINCE2) **How Success Looks Like After 12 Months** - Your engagements deliver predictably — visible governance, healthy velocity and very few surprises. - Teams you lead are well-run and motivated, with clear priorities and a clean, well-managed backlog. - Clients trust you to get things delivered — and see you as a strategic delivery partner, not just a project contact. - You’ve left a mark on how Satori engages clients.
