# Head of Growth Marketing

## Description

As a Head of Growth Marketing, you will own demand generation end-to-end for one of the world's largest influencer and creator marketplaces. You will set strategy, manage a network of external contractors, and be held fully accountable to signups, traffic, and pipeline targets. We are looking for a seasoned growth marketer with deep expertise in SEO, programmatic SEO, AEO, CRO, and paid acquisition. The channels are already running. What we need is the strategic and accountability layer on top. You will report directly to the founders with access to engineering, design, and PM resources. You will have full influence over which external partners we keep, replace, or expand.  

**Responsibilities:**

-   Owning the editorial direction and managing the content writer. Setting publishing cadence and measuring against organic traffic and signup contribution.
-   Leading PR strategy. Briefing the external PR team, supplying data and narratives, and holding them accountable to placements and outcomes.
-   Maintaining and scaling programmatic SEO pages and free tool pages. Brainstorming new page types and tools that compound organic traffic.
-   Distributing content and data across LinkedIn to build authority with brands, marketing leaders, and the creator economy.
-   Collaborating with the Google Ads contractor. Delivering landing pages and creative. Holding the contractor accountable to CPA and conversion targets.
-   Owning CRO across all acquisition surfaces: landing pages, blog CTAs, pSEO pages, tool pages, and paid LPs.
-   Maintaining and growing LLM visibility and AEO presence across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini.
-   Setting monthly and quarterly demand gen targets. Reporting on signups, traffic, LLM visibility, channel CAC, and pipeline.
-   Identifying and testing new growth channels continuously. Not just maintaining what works, but expanding beyond it.

## Requirements

-   6+ years of growth or demand generation marketing experience, with at least 3 years at a product-led growth company.
-   Must have operated at scale: millions of organic impressions and hundreds of thousands of inbound signups per month.
-   Strong expertise in SEO and AEO. Able to clearly explain approach to ranking in Google and AI-generated answers.
-   Demonstrated CRO ability with specific examples of conversion lifts on landing pages, blog posts, or tool pages.
-   Proven track record managing and holding accountable external contractors including writers, PR teams, and paid media.
-   Strong analytical skills. Comfortable owning a demand gen number and mapping out how to hit it.
-   Growth mindset. Constantly exploring new channels and thinking beyond existing playbooks.
-   Vancouver-based or willing to relocate. Hybrid role, three days per week in office.

**Preferred Qualifications**

-   Experience at a company in an adjacent industry: Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar.
-   Hands-on experience optimizing for LLM citations (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini).
-   Background in influencer marketing, creator economy, or two-sided marketplace.
-   Experience running PR for a startup, in-house or agency-side.
-   Track record scaling organic traffic to seven figures monthly.
-   Comfort with HubSpot, PostHog, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
