### Role Overview

The Implementation Engineer is a **hands-on senior network engineer** responsible for deploying and implementing **modern data center network architectures** within enterprise environments. This role focuses on executing finalized designs, particularly **VXLAN EVPN fabrics**, **BGP underlay/overlay**, and **Arista-based solutions**.

This is a **production-facing implementation role**, not a support or NOC position. The ideal candidate has **direct, hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting data center networks** using Cisco Nexus and Arista technologies.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Execute hands-on implementation of finalized **Arista and Cisco Nexus network designs**
-   Deploy and validate **VXLAN EVPN fabrics** in spine–leaf architectures
-   Configure and troubleshoot **BGP underlay and overlay**
-   Perform network migrations and cutovers, including weekend activities when required
-   Run and troubleshoot **Ansible playbooks** for network automation and configuration tasks
-   Validate configurations through testing to ensure stability, security, and performance
-   Document implementations, SOPs, and configuration standards
-   Collaborate with architects, project managers, and client engineering teams
-   Support post-implementation optimization and tuning

## Requirements

**Mandatory**

-   3+ years of hands-on experience in **data center networking**
-   Hands-on experience with **Cisco Nexus (9K preferred)**
-   Hands-on experience with **Arista switches** in production environments
-   Proven experience implementing **VXLAN EVPN**
-   Strong working knowledge of **BGP**, including underlay and overlay concepts
-   Experience with **spine–leaf architectures**
-   Ability to run and troubleshoot **Ansible playbooks** in network environments
-   Experience participating in **network migrations / change windows**
-   Experience with **Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP)**
-   Python scripting for network automation
-   Unix/Linux exposure
-   CCNP or CCIE certification
-   Financial services environment experience
-   Availability to work weekends for migrations when required
