Scalepex is actively seeking an experienced **Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)** for an exciting remote opportunity in the digital healthcare technology space.

We are looking for a hands-on QA automation professional with strong expertise in API testing, UI automation, and scalable testing frameworks.

You will collaborate with a talented engineering team developing healthcare technology solutions that leverage **HL7 FHIR APIs and electronic health record (EHR) data**.

## Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications and APIs.
-   Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
-   Collaborate with engineering teams, product owners, and stakeholders to define testable requirements.
-   Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation strategies.
-   Ensure end-to-end testing coverage across multiple applications.
-   Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track software defects.
-   Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
-   Partner with DevOps, engineering, and security teams to improve software quality and compliance.
-   Validate API functionality, data integrity, application performance, and reliability.

## Requirements

## Required Qualifications

-   **3+ years of experience** in software quality assurance and test automation.
-   Strong hands-on experience with automated API and UI testing.
-   Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
-   Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
-   Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC best practices.
-   Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
-   Experience with cloud platforms such as **AWS, Azure, or GCP**.
-   Experience testing commercial web applications and complex data integrations.
-   Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
