## Description

**Middle East Mattress Factory Co.** (the licensee of Sealy Inc. USA) is seeking a meticulous and strategic **Purchasing Supervisor** to manage our procurement operations. Located at our plant in **Jeddah, Saudi Arabia**, this role is responsible for securing high-quality raw materials (such as fabrics, foam components, steel wire, and packaging materials) while optimizing vendor relationships and reducing supply chain costs.

Job Purpose

The Purchasing Supervisor will oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle for mattress manufacturing materials and factory supplies. This position requires a strong commercial background to negotiate favorable terms, manage vendor performance, and coordinate closely with production teams to ensure zero downtime on the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities

-   **Procurement Operations:** Oversee the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, machinery spare parts, and factory consumables.
-   **Vendor Management:** Identify, evaluate, and build long-term relationships with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
-   **Cost & Negotiation:** Review supplier quotes, negotiate contracts, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising material quality.
-   **Inventory Coordination:** Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent material shortages or overstocking.
-   **ERP Data Management:** Utilize **Odoo ERP** software to generate purchase orders, track shipment statuses, and maintain accurate procurement logs.
-   **Compliance & Logistics:** Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and clear customs smoothly for imported goods.

## Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

-   **Education:** **Bachelor’s degree in Commerce**, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field.
-   **Experience:** **Minimum of 8 years** of procurement experience, with a solid background in **manufacturing or industrial factory environments**.
-   **Nationality:** **Indian or Pakistani** nationals currently residing in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama.
-   **Location:** Must currently **reside in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia** and be available for full-time, on-site work.
-   **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in **Odoo ERP software** (purchasing and inventory modules) and advanced MS Excel skills.
-   **Language Skills:** Professional fluency in English is mandatory for vendor correspondence, along with strong communication skills in Arabic.
