## Job Overview

An exciting career opportunity is available for an experienced **Consultant / Specialist in Oral Medicine** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE.

We are seeking a highly qualified and internationally trained Oral Medicine specialist with expertise in diagnosing and managing complex oral and maxillofacial conditions, oral mucosal diseases, and medically related oral disorders.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent diagnostic skills, specialist clinical knowledge, and a patient-centred approach to delivering comprehensive oral healthcare.

-   Diagnose and manage a wide range of oral medicine conditions and diseases affecting the oral and maxillofacial region.
-   Assess and treat oral mucosal disorders, including oral lichen planus, recurrent ulcers, and autoimmune-related oral conditions.
-   Evaluate patients presenting with persistent oral lesions, oral pain, and unexplained oral symptoms.
-   Manage oral manifestations of systemic diseases and medically complex conditions.
-   Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
-   Perform appropriate diagnostic investigations and oral biopsies within the scope of practice.
-   Manage patients with burning mouth syndrome, salivary gland disorders, and orofacial pain.
-   Identify suspicious oral lesions and coordinate referrals for further investigation when necessary.
-   Collaborate with oral surgeons, dentists, dermatologists, oncologists, and other medical specialists.
-   Provide patient education, preventive care, and long-term clinical follow-up.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with infection-control and patient safety standards.

## Requirements

-   Recognized dental degree (BDS, DDS, DMD, or equivalent).
-   Recognized postgraduate specialist qualification in Oral Medicine.
-   UK, Australian, New Zealand, Canadian, American, or other recognized Western specialist qualifications will be considered, subject to UAE licensing requirements.
-   Relevant clinical experience in Oral Medicine.
-   Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing oral mucosal diseases and complex oral conditions.
-   Experience in oral diagnostic procedures and management of medically compromised patients.
-   Excellent clinical judgement, communication, and patient-management skills.
