### **Job Description**

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a **Consultant / Specialist – Ophthalmologist** to join its ophthalmology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of eye conditions while providing comprehensive ophthalmic care to patients.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose various ophthalmic conditions.
-   Manage and treat eye diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disorders, corneal conditions, and other ocular disorders.
-   Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgical interventions as per expertise.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate patient counseling.
-   Interpret diagnostic tests, including OCT, visual field tests, and ocular imaging.
-   Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for ophthalmic procedures.
-   Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical standards and patient safety protocols.
-   Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous professional development activities.

## Requirements

-   MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
-   MS / MD / DNB / DO / FRCS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology.
-   Relevant clinical experience in Ophthalmology.
-   Expertise in diagnosing and managing ophthalmic conditions.
-   Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
