## Description

SearchPlus HR is seeking qualified and compassionate **Counsellors and Therapists** to join a reputable wellness centre or multidisciplinary mental health facility in Dubai, UAE. This opportunity is suitable for internationally trained professionals with recognised qualifications and experience in counselling, psychotherapy, and emotional well-being support.

The successful candidate will provide professional counselling and therapeutic support to individuals, couples, families, or groups, helping clients manage emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, stress, and other personal concerns.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct client consultations and assessments to understand emotional, psychological, and behavioural concerns.
-   Provide individual, couples, family, or group counselling, depending on qualifications and professional scope.
-   Support clients dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, and emotional difficulties.
-   Develop personalised counselling and therapeutic plans based on individual client needs.
-   Apply appropriate counselling approaches and therapeutic techniques within the scope of professional training.
-   Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as required.
-   Maintain confidential client records and comply with professional ethics and safeguarding standards.
-   Refer clients to psychologists, psychiatrists, or other specialists when additional assessment or treatment is required.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients' overall well-being.
-   Participate in case reviews, professional supervision, and continuing professional development.

## Requirements

1.  Bachelor's or master's degree in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, Psychotherapy, or a related discipline, as required for the relevant professional category.
2.  Relevant counselling or therapeutic experience.
3.  Knowledge of recognised counselling approaches and ethical professional practice.
4.  Strong communication, listening, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
5.  Ability to maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality.
6.  **Valid CDA licence or eligibility to obtain the appropriate Community Development Authority (CDA) professional licence**, subject to the applicable requirements.
