### Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Pain Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will specialise in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic pain conditions, providing advanced interventional pain management procedures and developing comprehensive, patient-centred treatment plans.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
-   Develop personalised pain management and treatment plans.
-   Perform interventional pain procedures, including nerve blocks, epidural injections and joint injections.
-   Manage neuropathic pain, back pain, neck pain, musculoskeletal pain and cancer-related pain.
-   Provide medication management and multimodal pain therapy.
-   Evaluate patients with complex pain conditions and treatment-resistant symptoms.
-   Collaborate with anaesthesiologists, neurologists, orthopaedic surgeons and rehabilitation specialists.
-   Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust management plans accordingly.
-   Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient safety.

## Requirements

-   MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
-   Recognised postgraduate specialist qualification in Pain Medicine.
-   American Board certification in Pain Medicine (where applicable).
-   Relevant residency and fellowship training in Pain Medicine or an accepted equivalent pathway.
-   Strong experience in interventional and non-interventional pain management.
-   Valid professional registration and eligibility for UAE healthcare licensing (DHA / DOH / MOHAP).
-   Excellent clinical, communication and patient management skills.
