## Description

A leading government healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist / Consultant in Maternal and Fetal Medicine to join its obstetrics and gynecology team. The successful candidate will provide specialized care for high-risk pregnancies, manage complex maternal and fetal conditions, and support the early diagnosis and treatment of fetal abnormalities. Candidates with recognized specialist qualifications and extensive experience in high-risk obstetrics are encouraged to apply.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Manage high-risk pregnancies and provide comprehensive maternal and fetal care.
-   Assess and monitor pregnancies complicated by maternal medical conditions, fetal abnormalities, and other obstetric risks.
-   Perform advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations and fetal assessments.
-   Conduct fetal anomaly screening, growth monitoring, and Doppler studies.
-   Diagnose and manage fetal growth restriction, multiple pregnancies, and other complex pregnancy-related conditions.
-   Counsel expectant parents regarding fetal abnormalities, prenatal investigations, and available management options.
-   Coordinate multidisciplinary care with obstetricians, neonatologists, genetic specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
-   Develop individualized management plans to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical guidelines and patient safety standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, teaching, research, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

-   Recognized medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
-   Fellowship or subspecialty training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine.
-   Western qualifications preferred, including UK CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Board, Australian Board, South African Board, or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification.
-   Relevant post-specialization experience in high-risk obstetrics and fetal medicine.
-   Expertise in advanced obstetric ultrasound, fetal assessment, and management of complex pregnancies.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
