## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Consultant Rehabilitation Medicine** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive rehabilitation care to patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, and other conditions affecting physical function, mobility, and quality of life.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring rehabilitation medicine services.
-   Develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans based on patients' clinical and functional needs.
-   Manage patients with conditions such as **stroke, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, chronic pain, and physical disabilities**.
-   Evaluate functional abilities, mobility, pain, and other factors affecting patient independence.
-   Coordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
-   Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans according to clinical outcomes.
-   Manage rehabilitation-related complications, including pain, spasticity, and mobility limitations.
-   Provide guidance to patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals, recovery, and long-term care.
-   Maintain accurate patient records and comprehensive clinical documentation.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and professional development activities.
-   Promote patient safety, functional independence, and high-quality patient-centered rehabilitation care.

## Requirements

-   MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Rehabilitation Medicine / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)** or an equivalent specialty.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a **Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine**.
-   Strong experience in managing neurological, musculoskeletal, spinal, stroke, and other rehabilitation-related conditions.
-   Experience in developing and coordinating multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs.
-   **UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, Canadian, or equivalent Western qualifications** are preferred.
-   Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and patient-management skills.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
-   Commitment to patient-centered care and high standards of clinical practice.
