## Description

A leading **Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE** is seeking experienced **Cardiothoracic Surgeons** to join its specialist surgical team.

This opportunity is open to internationally trained surgeons seeking to relocate to the UAE and offers the opportunity to work in a modern government healthcare environment with advanced cardiac and thoracic surgical facilities, multidisciplinary teams, and comprehensive patient care services.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical management of patients with cardiac and thoracic conditions.
-   Perform cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures according to clinical expertise and departmental requirements.
-   Conduct pre-operative evaluations and develop individualized surgical plans.
-   Perform appropriate open and minimally invasive cardiothoracic procedures.
-   Manage patients with complex cardiac and thoracic surgical conditions.
-   Provide post-operative care and monitor patients for potential complications.
-   Work closely with cardiologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, pulmonologists, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and surgical planning.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and clinical governance activities.
-   Contribute to teaching, training, and continuing professional development where applicable.

## Requirements

-   Medical degree such as **MBBS, MD, or equivalent** from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Cardiothoracic Surgery / Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery**.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
-   Strong operative experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery.
-   Experience managing complex cardiothoracic surgical cases.
-   Experience working within a tertiary hospital or advanced surgical environment.
