## Description

**Job Summary**  
A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced **Consultant Clinical Microbiologist** to oversee clinical microbiology services, laboratory diagnostics, infection prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship within a tertiary-care environment.

**Key Duties**

-   Lead clinical microbiology and diagnostic laboratory services.
-   Oversee culture, sensitivity testing and microbiological reporting.
-   Provide clinical consultation on complex infectious diseases.
-   Support infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship and outbreak management.
-   Ensure laboratory quality, accreditation and regulatory compliance.
-   Work closely with Infectious Disease, Pathology, ICU and other clinical teams.
-   Participate in teaching, research, audits and quality improvement.

## Requirements

Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in **Clinical Microbiology / Medical Microbiology**.

Consultant-level experience in a hospital/tertiary laboratory.

Recognized Board/CCT/CCST or equivalent qualification preferred.

Strong experience in infection control and antimicrobial stewardship.

**DHA/DoH/MOHAP Consultant eligibility or license** preferred/required depending on location.
