### Job Summary

**Leading private hospital in the UAE** is looking for an experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon with strong expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions. The role offers exposure to a diverse range of elective and emergency neurosurgical cases, advanced surgical services, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient-centered care while contributing to clinical excellence, patient safety, and the continued development of the hospital’s neurosurgical services.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
-   Perform elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures according to clinical expertise.
-   Manage complex brain, spine, cerebrovascular, neurotrauma, and other neurosurgical cases.
-   Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
-   Provide post-operative care and monitor patients for complications and recovery.
-   Manage emergency neurosurgical cases and provide timely surgical intervention.
-   Work closely with neurologists, neuroradiologists, oncologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and complex case discussions.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety and infection control.
-   Participate in clinical audits, teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
-   Support the development of advanced neurosurgical services and clinical protocols.

## Requirements

-   Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery.
-   **UK CCT/CCST in Neurosurgery or an appropriate recognized UK surgical qualification.**
-   Established Consultant-level clinical experience.
-   Strong experience in complex neurosurgical procedures and tertiary-care cases.
-   Proven expertise in areas such as brain surgery, spine surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, neuro-oncology, or neurotrauma.
-   Experience in a leading private hospital, tertiary-care center, or advanced neurosurgical setting preferred.
-   Strong clinical judgment, surgical skills, and decision-making abilities.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
