## Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join a reputed government healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide high-quality emergency care, manage acute and critical medical conditions, and support the delivery of timely, effective treatment in a fast-paced hospital environment.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
-   Perform emergency evaluations, stabilization, resuscitation, and life-saving interventions.
-   Manage trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, strokes, and other critical presentations.
-   Prioritize patient care through effective triage and clinical decision-making.
-   Order and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations and initiate appropriate treatment plans.
-   Coordinate with intensive care, surgical, medical, and other specialist teams for referrals and admissions.
-   Ensure adherence to emergency department protocols, patient safety standards, and infection control procedures.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure continuity of patient care.
-   Participate in clinical audits, emergency preparedness activities, and quality improvement initiatives.

## Requirements

-   Recognized medical degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications in Emergency Medicine.
-   Relevant clinical experience at Senior Specialist or Consultant level.
-   Strong expertise in emergency assessment, resuscitation, trauma management, and acute care.
-   Current life-support certifications appropriate to the role, such as ACLS and ATLS, where applicable.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
-   Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, multidisciplinary environment.
-   Candidates with **UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board** certifications are encouraged to apply.
