## Description

A prestigious **Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE** is seeking an experienced **Senior Specialist / Consultant – Periodontist** to join its dental and oral healthcare team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly qualified Periodontist to work within a well-established government healthcare environment, providing advanced periodontal care and contributing to high standards of clinical excellence.

We are particularly interested in candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including **UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board** credentials.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide specialist/consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with periodontal and related oral health conditions.
-   Diagnose and manage complex periodontal diseases and conditions affecting the supporting structures of the teeth.
-   Develop comprehensive, individualized periodontal treatment plans.
-   Perform non-surgical and surgical periodontal procedures according to clinical expertise.
-   Perform periodontal regenerative procedures and soft-tissue management where appropriate.
-   Manage patients requiring periodontal maintenance and long-term supportive care.
-   Evaluate patients for dental implants and provide appropriate periodontal assessment and treatment.
-   Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, and other dental specialists.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and clinical documentation.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
-   Contribute to teaching, supervision, and mentoring of junior dental professionals.
-   Promote patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based periodontal care.
-   Stay updated with advances in periodontology, implant-related therapy, regenerative procedures, and modern treatment techniques.

## Requirements

-   Recognized dental degree such as **BDS, DDS, DMD, or equivalent**.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Periodontology / Periodontics**.
-   Significant post-specialty clinical experience in Periodontology.
-   Strong experience in the diagnosis and management of moderate to advanced periodontal disease.
-   Demonstrated experience in surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures.
-   Experience with periodontal regenerative procedures and implant-related periodontal care is highly desirable.
-   Strong clinical judgment and treatment-planning skills.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental and healthcare environment.
