## Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified **Consultant Reconstructive Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in reconstructive surgical procedures, complex wound management, tissue reconstruction, and microsurgical techniques, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient outcomes and high-quality surgical care.

## Key Responsibilities

-   Evaluate patients and develop individualized surgical treatment plans for reconstructive conditions.
-   Perform reconstructive procedures following trauma, burns, cancer surgery, and congenital abnormalities.
-   Conduct complex soft tissue reconstruction, skin grafting, and flap procedures.
-   Perform microsurgical reconstruction where appropriately trained and credentialed.
-   Manage complex wounds, tissue defects, and post-surgical complications.
-   Collaborate with plastic surgeons, oncologists, orthopaedic surgeons, and other specialists.
-   Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
-   Monitor recovery, manage complications, and ensure optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes.
-   Maintain accurate clinical records and follow patient safety and infection-control protocols.

## Requirements

-   Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized specialist qualification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery or an equivalent relevant surgical specialty.
-   Western qualifications such as UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Royal College, Australian or New Zealand specialist qualifications are preferred.
-   Relevant consultant-level experience in reconstructive surgery.
-   Extensive experience in complex reconstructive procedures and surgical wound management.
-   Strong expertise in flap surgery, skin grafting, and microsurgical techniques.
-   Excellent clinical judgement, surgical skills, and patient-management abilities.
-   Valid UAE healthcare licence or eligibility for the relevant Consultant title, subject to the applicable licensing authority's requirements.
