### Job Summary

A leading healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced **Consultant Gastrointestinal & Endocrine Surgeon** to provide advanced surgical care for complex gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and endocrine surgical conditions within a tertiary-care environment.

### Key Duties

-   Diagnose and surgically manage complex gastrointestinal and endocrine conditions.
-   Perform elective and emergency gastrointestinal and endocrine procedures.
-   Manage upper GI, colorectal, hepatobiliary and endocrine surgical cases according to clinical privileges.
-   Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative management.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and complex case discussions.
-   Supervise residents, fellows and junior surgical staff.
-   Participate in clinical teaching, research, audits and quality improvement.
-   Contribute to development of surgical protocols and service improvement.

## Requirements

-   Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in **General Surgery / Gastrointestinal Surgery / Endocrine Surgery**.
-   Consultant-level experience with relevant subspecialty expertise.
-   **UK CCT, Western Qualification, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board**.
-   Minimum **3 years' post-board/fellowship consultant experience** preferred; current Saudi consultant vacancies commonly specify this level of experience.
-   Tertiary-care hospital experience preferred.
-   Eligible for **Consultant classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)**.
-   Valid DataFlow/primary-source verification as required.
-   Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
