## Description

A leading **Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE** is seeking an experienced **Specialist / Consultant – Oral Medicine** to join its specialized dental team.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnosis and management of complex oral and maxillofacial conditions, working closely with dental and medical specialists to deliver patient-centered care and accurate clinical diagnosis.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of oral mucosal, salivary gland, and oral medicine conditions.
-   Evaluate patients presenting with complex oral lesions, chronic oral pain, ulcerative conditions, and potentially malignant disorders.
-   Perform comprehensive clinical examinations and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
-   Interpret relevant clinical investigations, imaging, and laboratory findings.
-   Coordinate biopsies and other diagnostic procedures when clinically indicated.
-   Manage patients with medically related oral conditions and provide appropriate referrals where required.
-   Work collaboratively with oral and maxillofacial surgeons, dermatologists, oncologists, ENT specialists, and other medical and dental teams.
-   Provide appropriate follow-up and long-term management for chronic oral conditions.
-   Maintain accurate patient records and comply with clinical governance and patient-safety standards.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, teaching, and continuing professional development.

## Requirements

-   Recognized **Dental Degree (BDS/DDS/DMD or equivalent)**.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Oral Medicine**.
-   Relevant Specialist or Consultant-level clinical experience.
-   Candidates with **UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board** are encouraged to apply.
-   Strong experience in the diagnosis and management of complex oral medicine conditions.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
-   Previous experience in a tertiary, teaching, or government healthcare facility is advantageous.
