## Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant in Pain Medicine to join a reputed government healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic pain conditions, delivering evidence-based treatment plans to improve patients' quality of life and functional outcomes.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage acute, chronic, and complex pain conditions.
-   Develop individualized, multidisciplinary pain management plans based on patients' clinical needs.
-   Perform appropriate interventional pain procedures in accordance with qualifications and clinical privileges.
-   Manage neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal pain, cancer-related pain, and other complex pain syndromes.
-   Evaluate patients' medical histories, diagnostic investigations, and treatment responses.
-   Provide appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management strategies.
-   Collaborate with anesthesiologists, neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals.
-   Educate patients and caregivers on pain management, rehabilitation, and long-term treatment plans.
-   Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with patient safety and quality standards.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

## Requirements

-   Recognized medical degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, or another appropriate specialty with advanced pain management training.
-   Relevant clinical experience at Senior Specialist or Consultant level.
-   Demonstrated expertise in managing acute and chronic pain conditions.
-   Experience in interventional pain management techniques, where applicable to the role.
-   Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
-   Candidates with **UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board** certifications are encouraged to apply.
