## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Plastic Surgeon – Specialist / Consultant** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide high-quality surgical care across reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, with a strong focus on patient safety and clinical outcomes.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring plastic and reconstructive surgery.
-   Perform appropriate **reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures** within the scope of expertise.
-   Conduct detailed pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
-   Provide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patient recovery.
-   Manage complex surgical cases and post-operative complications when required.
-   Evaluate patients for cosmetic procedures and clearly explain treatment options, expected outcomes, and potential risks.
-   Collaborate with anesthesiologists, dermatologists, general surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
-   Maintain accurate patient records and comprehensive clinical documentation.
-   Ensure appropriate infection-control and patient-safety practices during surgical procedures.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and professional development activities.

## Requirements

-   MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Plastic Surgery / Reconstructive Surgery** or an equivalent specialty.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a **Specialist / Consultant Plastic Surgeon**.
-   Strong experience in reconstructive and/or aesthetic plastic surgery.
-   Experience in pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, and post-operative patient management.
-   **UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, Canadian, or equivalent Western qualifications** are preferred.
-   Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to patient safety.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
