### **Job Description**

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a **Consultant / Specialist – Pathologist** to join its laboratory medicine team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations, interpreting pathology findings, and supporting clinical teams in accurate disease diagnosis and patient management.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Examine and interpret histopathology, cytology, and laboratory findings to provide accurate diagnoses.
-   Analyze tissue specimens, biopsies, and cytological samples.
-   Provide diagnostic reports and clinical consultations to physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
-   Perform or oversee specialized pathology investigations as required.
-   Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely reporting of laboratory results.
-   Collaborate with clinicians, surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists for diagnosis and treatment planning.
-   Maintain compliance with laboratory quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
-   Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and continuous professional development activities.

## Requirements

-   MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
-   MD / DNB / FCPS / FRCPath or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Pathology.
-   Relevant clinical experience in Pathology.
-   Strong knowledge of histopathology, cytopathology, and diagnostic laboratory practices.
-   Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
