## Description

Leading private healthcare facility looking for an experienced **Consultant Intensive Care Medicine / Consultant Intensivist** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients, managing complex ICU cases, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide expert medical care to critically ill and complex patients in the ICU.
-   Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, and advanced monitoring.
-   Diagnose and manage acute and life-threatening medical conditions.
-   Lead multidisciplinary ICU rounds and coordinate patient management with specialists.
-   Perform and supervise critical care procedures as appropriate.
-   Manage sepsis, respiratory failure, multi-organ failure, shock, and other critical conditions.
-   Participate in emergency response and resuscitation activities.
-   Support and mentor junior doctors and ICU medical staff.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and UAE healthcare standards.

## Requirements

Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).

Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Intensive Care Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, or an equivalent specialty**, depending on the licensing pathway.

**Consultant-level experience** in Intensive Care Medicine.

Minimum **3–5 years of post-specialization experience** preferred.

Experience managing complex adult ICU patients.

Strong expertise in mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic management, sepsis and multi-organ failure.

Experience with critical care procedures and advanced ICU technologies.

**Tier 1 / Western qualification preferred**, such as:

-   UK CCT/CCST
-   American Board
-   Canadian Board
-   Irish Board
-   Australian/New Zealand Fellowship
-   Other internationally recognized equivalent qualifications.

Eligible for **DHA, DOH or MOHAP** licensing in the UAE.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
