## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Pediatric Emergency Medicine Specialist / Consultant** with an **American Board qualification** to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive emergency care to infants, children, and adolescents presenting with acute and critical medical conditions.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, stabilize, and manage pediatric patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
-   Provide timely and evidence-based treatment for medical, surgical, traumatic, and critical pediatric emergencies.
-   Manage pediatric resuscitation and critically ill patients.
-   Perform emergency procedures within the scope of clinical practice.
-   Coordinate care with pediatric specialists, intensive care teams, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
-   Determine appropriate admission, referral, discharge, and follow-up plans.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
-   Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
-   Support teaching, training, and supervision of junior medical staff where required.
-   Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.

## Requirements

-   **American Board Certification** in the relevant specialty.
-   Valid medical registration in the country of practice.
-   Relevant experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
-   Current BLS, PALS, and other relevant emergency certifications.
-   Strong clinical, communication, and decision-making skills.
-   Ability to work effectively in a high-volume emergency department.
-   Eligible for UAE medical licensing, subject to the relevant health authority's assessment.
