### Job Summary

We are seeking qualified Consultant and Specialist Gastroenterologists with recognized Western qualifications to join leading healthcare facilities across the UAE. The ideal candidates should have extensive experience in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal and liver disorders, performing advanced endoscopic procedures, and providing comprehensive patient care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
-   Evaluate and treat conditions affecting the oesophagus, stomach, intestines, pancreas, gallbladder, and liver.
-   Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy.
-   Perform endoscopic procedures, including polypectomy, biopsy, haemostasis, and foreign body removal.
-   Manage inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
-   Diagnose and treat liver conditions, including hepatitis, fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, and portal hypertension.
-   Manage gastrointestinal bleeding, peptic ulcers, reflux disease, and functional bowel disorders.
-   Assess and manage pancreatic and biliary disorders.
-   Perform or supervise advanced endoscopic procedures, such as ERCP and EUS, where appropriately trained and credentialed.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medical therapies.
-   Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and manage gastrointestinal emergencies.
-   Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and endoscopic findings.
-   Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.

## Requirements

-   MBBS / MD or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
-   Recognized Western specialist qualification in Gastroenterology, such as UK CCT, FRACP (Australia), American Board Certification, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
-   Current or previous registration with the relevant Western medical authority, as applicable.
-   Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology procedures.
-   Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant licensing under the relevant UAE healthcare authority requirements.
