## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Pediatric Surgeon** with an **American Board qualification** to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized surgical care to infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of congenital, developmental, and acquired surgical conditions.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and develop appropriate surgical treatment plans for pediatric patients.
-   Perform pediatric surgical procedures within the scope of clinical expertise.
-   Manage congenital, neonatal, abdominal, gastrointestinal, and other pediatric surgical conditions.
-   Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
-   Manage surgical emergencies and post-operative complications.
-   Work closely with pediatricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
-   Counsel parents and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, and follow-up care.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
-   Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.
-   Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff where required.
-   Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.

## Requirements

-   **American Board Certification in Pediatric Surgery** or recognized equivalent.
-   Valid medical registration in the country of practice.
-   Relevant clinical and surgical experience in Pediatric Surgery.
-   Strong experience in pediatric and neonatal surgical care.
-   Excellent clinical, surgical, communication, and decision-making skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
