## Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant Neonatologist to join a reputed government healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized care for newborns, particularly premature and critically ill infants, ensuring high standards of neonatal intensive care and positive clinical outcomes.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide comprehensive medical care to newborns, including premature, low-birth-weight, and critically ill infants.
-   Diagnose and manage neonatal conditions, including respiratory distress, neonatal infections, jaundice, and congenital disorders.
-   Manage neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients and coordinate appropriate respiratory and supportive therapies.
-   Perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilization in emergency situations.
-   Monitor growth, development, and clinical progress, adjusting treatment plans as required.
-   Collaborate with pediatricians, obstetricians, neonatal nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
-   Counsel parents and families regarding neonatal conditions, treatment plans, and ongoing care.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with infection control and patient safety standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, neonatal care improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary case reviews.

## Requirements

-   Recognized medical degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications in Pediatrics and specialized training or qualifications in Neonatology.
-   Relevant clinical experience at Senior Specialist or Consultant level.
-   Strong expertise in neonatal intensive care and the management of premature and critically ill newborns.
-   Experience in neonatal resuscitation, respiratory support, and the management of complex neonatal conditions.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
-   Candidates with **UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board** certifications are encouraged to apply.
