## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Hand Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves providing specialized surgical and clinical care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and upper extremity.

Candidates with **UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board** qualifications are preferred.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and manage a wide range of hand, wrist, and upper-extremity conditions.
-   Perform complex hand and upper-extremity surgical procedures.
-   Manage traumatic injuries, fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, and ligament disorders.
-   Perform reconstructive and microsurgical procedures where applicable.
-   Treat carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, nerve compression, and other hand conditions.
-   Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up.
-   Coordinate with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
-   Maintain accurate clinical records and follow patient safety and quality standards.

## Requirements

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
-   Postgraduate qualification in **Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, or equivalent**, with advanced fellowship/training in Hand Surgery.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
-   Strong experience in hand, wrist, and upper-extremity surgery.
-   Experience in trauma, reconstruction, tendon and nerve repair is preferred.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
