## Description

A leading **Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE** is seeking an experienced **Specialist / Consultant – Pediatrics** to join its established pediatric medical team.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, managing a broad range of acute and chronic pediatric conditions. The role offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment focused on high-quality, family-centered patient care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence.
-   Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions and provide appropriate follow-up care.
-   Conduct routine pediatric examinations, developmental assessments, and preventive healthcare.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
-   Recognize and manage pediatric emergencies and escalate complex cases appropriately.
-   Monitor growth, development, nutrition, and overall child health.
-   Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care.
-   Coordinate patient care with pediatric subspecialists and other multidisciplinary teams.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
-   Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

-   Medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Pediatrics / Paediatrics**.
-   Relevant Specialist or Consultant-level clinical experience.
-   Candidates with **UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board** are encouraged to apply.
-   Strong clinical experience in general pediatrics and management of acute and chronic conditions.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
-   Previous experience in a tertiary, teaching, or government hospital is advantageous.
