## Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant Child Psychiatrist to join a reputed government healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents, supporting their emotional, behavioral, and mental well-being.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage psychiatric and neurodevelopmental conditions in children and adolescents.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and appropriate therapeutic interventions.
-   Manage conditions such as ADHD, autism-related mental health concerns, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and behavioral difficulties.
-   Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and monitor treatment outcomes.
-   Collaborate with pediatricians, psychologists, therapists, schools, and families to ensure coordinated care.
-   Provide counseling and guidance to parents and caregivers regarding treatment and ongoing support.
-   Assess mental health risks and implement appropriate safeguarding and crisis management measures.
-   Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to established patient safety and confidentiality standards.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and clinical quality improvement initiatives.

## Requirements

-   Recognized medical degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications in Psychiatry and specialized training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
-   Relevant clinical experience at Senior Specialist or Consultant level.
-   Strong expertise in child and adolescent mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
-   Experience managing a range of psychiatric, emotional, behavioral, and developmental conditions.
-   Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and family-centered care skills.
-   Candidates with **UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board** certifications are encouraged to apply.
