## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Consultant / Specialist Pediatrician** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, covering preventive, acute, and chronic pediatric conditions.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence.
-   Provide routine pediatric consultations, developmental assessments, and preventive care.
-   Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including respiratory, infectious, gastrointestinal, and developmental disorders.
-   Monitor growth, nutrition, immunization, and developmental milestones.
-   Manage pediatric emergencies and stabilize critically ill children when required.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care.
-   Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding diagnosis and treatment.
-   Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
-   Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching, and continuing professional development.

## Requirements

-   MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Pediatrics / Paediatrics**.
-   Relevant post-specialty clinical experience.
-   Strong experience in general pediatrics and management of common pediatric conditions.
-   Experience in pediatric emergency care is an advantage.
-   Valid professional registration/license in the country of practice.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-management skills.
-   **Consultant candidates:** Appropriate senior-level qualifications and substantial post-specialty experience.
