### Job Description

A leading government healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking qualified and experienced **Cardiovascular Surgeons** to join its advanced surgical team. The successful candidates will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and surgically manage patients with cardiovascular conditions.
-   Perform cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures according to expertise.
-   Manage complex cardiac and vascular surgical cases.
-   Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
-   Participate in emergency cardiovascular and trauma cases when required.
-   Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthetists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams.
-   Review diagnostic imaging and investigations to develop appropriate surgical plans.
-   Maintain accurate clinical and surgical documentation.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.

## Requirements

-   MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical degree.
-   MD/MS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in **Cardiovascular Surgery / Cardiothoracic Surgery**.
-   Relevant post-specialization experience according to the position level.
-   Strong experience in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery.
-   Experience in **CABG, valve surgery, aortic surgery, and other major cardiovascular procedures** is highly desirable.
-   Strong surgical skills, clinical judgment, and decision-making abilities.
-   Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
-   Candidates with **UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board** qualifications are highly encouraged to apply.
